Dermal fillers (no downtime), a fat transfer and a ligament transection are techniques that may be used to increase the size of your penis.

Male Enhancement Procedure Overview

A genetic predisposition or age-related changes can cause penis concerns or low hanging scrotum. Aesthetic concerns may lead you to consider a penis or scrotal enhancement procedure to improve your appearance. An inadequate blood flow to the penis can cause erectile dysfunction. Physical and psychological issues may play a role in the condition. While erectile dysfunction (ED) can be treated with penile implants, male enhancement procedures that increase the size of your penis and enhance the appearance of your scrotum are cosmetic concerns designed to improve your appearance.

If you are in good health and you maintain a good understanding of the expected results, you may be a candidate for penis enhancement and scrotal procedures. Keep in mind that there is currently no penis enlargement procedure that is recognized to have long-term results. Penile implants are used to create an erection if you have erectile dysfunction.

Male Enhancement: Answers to the Most Commonly Asked Questions | With Dr. Young Cho

Our Approach

Dr. Cho will discuss your concerns and explain the different treatment options that are available to address your issues and improve penis size, erectile dysfunction and elongated scrotum. Bear in mind that penile implants are not usually the first treatment used for erectile dysfunction.

Dr. Cho will perform an examination to determine the best approach for your situation. He may recommend hyaluronic acid fillers such as Juvederm and Restylane that is injected into your penis or a PRP injection often called a P-Shot.

PRP is platelet-rich plasma that comes from your own blood that is drawn before the procedure and placed in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets that contain growth factors. The PRP is then injected into different areas of the penis. Sometimes PRP injections are combined with a fat transfer to increase the size of the penis and improve sensation.

Dr. Cho may determine that surgery is the best option or other alternatives like penile traction devices or vacuum pumps. Synthetic penis implants may be used to treat erectile dysfunction. After the procedure you will be able to control when you have an erection. Implants do not affect sexual performance, orgasm, sensation or penis size.

Complementary Procedures

Improving the appearance of your scrotum is a complementary procedure to a penile implant. The loss of skin elasticity that often comes with aging or genetic predisposition can cause your scrotum to hang lower than you would prefer. A scrotoplasty can address aesthetic concerns. The procedure will remove any excess skin and tighten the muscle to correct abnormalities and improve the scrotal aesthetic.

Alternative Procedures

Pros & Cons

PROS

  • The fat transfer procedure provides longer lasting permanent penis augmentation.
  • Surgical penis enlargement generally provides a better outcome than other procedures.
  • You will see an immediate difference after treatment.
  • Some people who have had the procedure report that penis augmentation increased their sexual satisfaction as well as their partner’s.

CONS

  • Some people may experience erectile dysfunction after the augmentation.
  • Some people may find a lump in their penis after a fat transfer.

RISKS

The ligament release option has the risk of infection, loss of sensation, scarring and erectile dysfunction. Results of a fat transfer can be unpredictable since some fat cells do not survive. There is also the risk of infection.
