Understanding FaceTite & AccuTite

FaceTite and AccuTite in Spring, TX, are ideal for those areas that often start to droop or sag as we get older, including the cheeks, chin, jowls, and neck. When tissue laxity increases, the sagging or drooping that results can cause us to look tired or worn down, in addition to creating lines and wrinkles that add to an aged appearance. Facial tightening with AccuTite or FaceTite is quick, easy, and effective, making this a great solution for patients who are interested in a method of facial rejuvenation that won’t impact their schedules.

The Five Rs of Facial Rejuvenation

Our signature approach to full facial rejuvenation, coined the “The Five Rs to Facial Rejuvenation,” is designed to globally address the signs of aging and achieve long-lasting results. Each R works together to restore different layers of the face using a combination of surgical and non-surgical procedures. This advanced method includes relaxing muscles, replenishing lost volume, restoring the skin, repositioning the tissues, and reducing facial volume.

R1 – Relax Muscles

We help to relax the muscles and smooth out the appearance of wrinkles by addressing the forehead, crow’s feet, frown lines, masseter lines, chin, and lip lines with muscle relaxer treatments like Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, and Daxxi. Muscle relaxers also help to reduce migraines, excessive sweating and gummy smiles.

R2 – Replenish Lost Volume

Whether you have volume loss from weight loss or due to the aging process, we can help replenish the volume and contour the face with fillers like Juvéderm, Restylane, RHA, Sculptra, or Radiesse. When combining relaxation of the muscles (R1) with replenishing lost volume (R2) it can make a tremendous difference. We can enhance your results when using R2 in combination with volume reduction techniques (R5), repositioning of the tissue (R4), and restoring the skin (R3).

R3 – Restore the Skin

At Integrated Aesthetics, we offer a robust portfolio of skin resurfacing and tightening devices to help improve the texture, health, and appearance of your skin. Depending on whether the focus is improving discoloration, pore size, fine lines, or mild skin laxity, we offer different options that target different skin concerns.

R4 – Reposition the Tissue

As we get older, our tissues start to sag down. Anything we can do to reposition the tissue can help give you a more lifted appearance. Surgically, we can do a facelift (mini, full, or extended) or neck lift. On the minimally invasive side, we can use threads like Silhouette InstaLift, PDO threads, or MyEllevate to internally lift and reposition the tissues.

R5 – Reduce Facial Volume

Sometimes, instead of having volume lost as we age, we develop excess fullness. It can be fullness under our chin (double chin) or in the jowl area. If we reduce the fullness in the double chin region, it’s also going to help define the transition from the lower face to the neck. This can be done with procedures that either dissolve the fat (Kybella), tighten or melt the fatty tissue (AccuTite), remove the fat (Liposuction), or even freeze the fat (CoolSculpting).

FaceTite and AccuTite Treatments

FaceTite and AccuTite in The Woodlands are both outpatient treatments that can be performed under local anesthesia. To begin the procedure, Dr. Cho will make a tiny incision in the treatment area, ensuring that it is small enough to avoid leaving a visible scar or requiring any stitches.

He will then insert a cannula into the incision, where it will heat the tissues below the surface of your skin. An electrode will then be passed over the skin, generating an electrical field that maximizes skin contraction and fat coagulation.

As radiofrequency-assisted liposuction (or RFAL) works to manually remove unwanted fat cells, the device also works to heat the tissues that lie below the surface of your skin, stimulating your body’s collagen-producing abilities for long-lasting results.

The procedure will last around one hour from start to finish, and you should see visible improvement in your skin after a week. 70% of your results become apparent within six weeks, with continued improvement for up to a year.

Your Recovery Period After
FaceTite or AccuTite

Most people take several days off from work during their initial recovery, during which time you can expect to see some bruising and swelling that will likely last for a week or more. We’ll give you thorough aftercare instructions and everything you need to maintain swelling and discomfort, though the recovery period after FaceTite or AccuTite is quite comfortable.

Some patients are able to notice an immediate improvement that appears in addition to their long-term benefits. Contouring and tightening of the treatment area will take shape rapidly over the first three to four months, and you will see a continued improvement that lasts for up to a year after your treatment.

Combining Your FaceTite or AccuTite Procedure

AccuTite works best when it is applied to smaller treatment areas that have excess fat and mild skin laxity. AccuTite and FaceTite in The Woodlands are often combined with Morpheus8 radiofrequency microneedling to stimulate collagen in the deeper layers of the skin.

FaceTite & AccuTite FAQ

Do you offer alternative procedures?

What else do I need to know about FaceTite and AccuTite?

Are there any risks involved?

How much does a consultation cost?

Do you offer alternative procedures?

A mini facelift is an alternative surgery that is less invasive than a full facelift but requires two weeks of downtime. A “liquid facelift” is performed with injectable fillers, and a thread lift can provide a lifted appearance for a year or two in the treated areas. Sofwave and Ultherapy use ultrasound to achieve results and involves little to no recovery time.

What else do I need to know about FaceTite and AccuTite?

  • You may have bruising and swelling for a week or so after the procedure.
  • Patients with poor skin elasticity may not see a good result.
  • There is a risk of burns and temporary nerve bruising.

Are there any risks involved?

The most common complications are swelling, bruising, and numbness. Burns are also possible, but the risk is minimal due to the device’s protective sensor. There is also a risk of issues that affect facial movement and create asymmetry. This situation may resolve on its own within three to six months. In some cases, contour irregularity can occur, requiring a second procedure like injectables, thread lifts, a facelift, or a fat transfer.

How much does a consultation cost?

The cost of a consultation with Dr. Young Cho is $175. You’ll meet with Dr. Cho and a Patient Experience Coordinator in our welcoming Spring, TX location. If you choose to move forward with a treatment plan, the cost of your consultation will be applied.
